Towing hitch (kit)
The Volkswagen Genuine fixed towing bracket and the vehicle-specific electrical installation kit provides a complete retrofit package. The custom-fit towing bracket remains fixed to the car at all times and enables the safe operation of trailers and carrier systems. The vehicle-specific Volkswagen Genuine electrical installation kit (13-pin) ensures the supply of electricity and thus enables the safe operation of the trailer. Full integration into the vehicle’s CAN-bus network is provided for all components, including support for the vehicle-trailer stabilisation system, switching to stand-by current and the adjustment of all the vehicle’s assistance systems.
  • Attention: Prior to coding, the vehicle may need to be identified to update the built-in control units.|Depending on the model variant, additional parts are required - see installation instructions.|Observe limitations and stipulations of Volkswagen AG. (e.g. passenger car sales program)
