The Volkswagen Genuine “Comfort” roof box has a volume of around 460 litres and features an optimised aerodynamic design that reduces unpleasant driving noises as far as possible. It has been adapted to complement the modern design of the new Volkswagen models and impresses with an innovative, pre-assembled quick release mechanism. The roof box is equipped with an innovative “Duo-Lift” system that enables the box to be opened conveniently from both sides. Three tensioning belts inside the box prevent the load from shifting. The roof box is fitted with a 3-point central locking mechanism and is available in High-Gloss Black. With a length of 2.30 m, it is ideal for use in winter sports, as all conventional ski and snowboard sizes can be loaded into it without any problems. Tips and tricks for optimal roof box loading are documented in the installation instructions.
Important information: Aerial: In vehicles with rod aerials, the aerial may come into contact with the roof box depending on the vehicle model and aerial length. The aerial may have to be unscrewed if necessary.
